Abstract: The objective of this work was to evaluate macronutrient uptake and export by transgenic corn hybrids under medium and high fertilization levels. For each fertilization level, a randomized complete block design was carried out in the summer crop season, under no-tillage and supplementary irrigation, with four cultivars and four replicates. Plants were sampled throughout the entire cycle and separated into leaves, stalk, husk, cob, and grains for the determination of dry matter mass and accumulation of macronutrients in the different growth stages. Under the high fertilization level, a greater dry matter mass and nutrient uptake were observed, but grain yield was similar to that under the medium fertilization level. ABSTRACT Wastewater can be considered an excellent nutritional and water source for cultivated plants. However, the presence of high concentrations of salts and toxic compounds can negatively affect crops. The effect of irrigation with different concentrations of treated wastewater on the accumulation of nutrients and gas exchange aspects of millet (Pennisetum glaucum (L.) R. Br.) grown in clay soil and sandy loam soil was analyzed. Plasma membranes from insect midgut cells are separated into apical and basolateral domains. The apical domain is usually modified into microvilli with a molecular structure similar to other animals. Nevertheless, the microvillar structure should differ in some insects to permit the traffic inside them of secretory vesicles that may budd laterally or pinch-off from the tips of microvilli. Other microvillar modifications are associated with proton-pumping or with the interplay with an ensheathing lipid membrane (the perimicrovilllar membrane) observed in the midgut cells of hemipterans (aphids and bugs). Con el objeto de conocer el efecto del potencial osmótico de las sales inorgánicas del medio de Murashige y Skoog se determinó el contenido de humedad, peso de materia seca, concentración y extracción nutrimental en brotes de Agave potatorum Zucc. Se establecieron medios de cultivo con los siguientes potenciales osmóticos: -0.187, -0.139, -0.094 y -0.050 MPa. El experimento se estableció con un diseño completamente al azar con tres repeticiones. Los datos obtenidos se sometieron a un análisis de varianza y comparación de medias. Después de 90 días del establecimiento del experimento se encontraron diferencias estadísticas significativas entre tratamientos para las variables evaluadas. The effects of organic acid (double-coated calcium butyrate base supplement) on performance and carcass traits of broiler chickens were assessed in three groups (PC, NC1 and NC2). The organic acid was added in three phases of feeding (1-21d, 22-35d, 36-42d) in PC, NC1 (PC deduction 40 kcal ME/kg and both methionine and lysine 1.5%) and NC2 (PC deduction 60 kcal ME/kg and both methionine and lysine 2.2%). Organic acid was added in PC with three period dosages 750-500-500 ppm and in both NC1 and NC2 1000-750-750 ppm.
